Urinary

Built for dogs with a history of urinary issues — struvite bladder stones, recurring sterile cystitis, or chronic lower urinary tract problems. Moderate animal protein from lean beef and whole egg helps keep urine at a healthy pH, the moderate sodium level encourages your dog to drink more water (which dilutes the urine and helps prevent stones from forming), and cranberries and blueberries add antioxidants that may help protect the bladder lining. Make sure fresh water is always available.

Notes & guidance

  • · Provides ~27% of energy from protein, ~41% from fat, and ~31% from carbohydrate.
  • · Moderate sodium is intentional — it drives water turnover and lowers urine relative supersaturation.
  • · Cranberry and blueberry polyphenols may reduce bacterial adhesion to uroepithelium and provide antioxidant support.
  • · Controlled magnesium and phosphorus minimize substrate for struvite crystal formation.
  • · Not appropriate for concurrent cardiac, renal, or hypertensive disease without reformulation.

Feeding instructions

  1. 1Cook the ground beef thoroughly — pan-brown until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2Cook the egg (scrambled, boiled, or poached). Cook the rice, broccoli, and mushrooms until soft.
  3. 3Mix the daily portion together with the supplements in one batch, then divide across two meals.
  4. 4Add fish oil, iViBlend, and Calgae AFTER cooling — do not heat the supplements.
  5. 5Encourage free access to fresh water at all times — sodium is set to drive water turnover.
  6. 6Recheck urine pH and USG with your vet; target USG <1.030 to support urolith prevention.
  7. 7Refrigerate up to 3 days, or portion and freeze for up to 2 months.
